Wise Up is a group work project aimed at educating young people on harmful addictive behaviours, like drugs, alcohol and gambling. It works with groups of young people like you, to help with both prevention and recovery.
By providing a teen and youth alcohol, drugs and gambling service the project can deliver workshops in groups in venues like youth groups, sports clubs, schools and hostels.
These workshops are designed to educate you about the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol and gambling. They aim to reduce the harm that these can cause, both directly, as well as through the risky activities that young people may take part in as a result of their use of drugs/alcohol.
It’s not about telling you what you should or shouldn’t do – or judging you for what you are doing. We just want to give you the right information to help you make the right decisions about your use of drugs and alcohol, and/or involvement with gambling.
