Making changes in your life about the way you use drugs or alcohol can be difficult – and finding the motivation to keep going can be even harder on your own. If you’d like some support to get or keep motivated, our drug and alcohol motivational group is for you.
The group will help you to:
- Learn how to make changes.
- Explore ways of improving and maintaining your motivation, whatever stage of recovery you’re at.
- Change negative thinking, use your imagination positively and build on your strengths.
- Cope with stress and anxiety, and learn relaxation techniques.
Some of our centres offer this for 2 hours per week for 8 weeks, in others it runs continuously as an open access group.
