Drug or alcohol counselling is a talking therapy where you meet one-to-one with a qualified, experienced and non-judgmental therapist, usually for 50-60 minutes each session. This gives you an opportunity to develop a relationship in a safe place where you can discuss and explore personal issues that may have been contributing to your drug or alcohol misuse. Counselling can help you become more self-aware and change unhealthy behaviour patterns.
If you are unsure whether counselling is for you or would like to know more, please ask at your nearest NORCAS branch or give us a call and ask to speak to a counsellor who will be able to help you decide if it is right for you.
