NORCAS Youth service can help in lots of ways with drug and alcohol misuse. Our services are free, confidential and available to anyone in Norfolk and Suffolk 25 and under. Whether you want to cut down or give up altogether, here are some ways we can help you.
At NORCAS, we work using a 'harm reduction model'. This means that we help you to identify small achievable goals to enable you to reduce the risks associated with misusing drugs, alcohol or other substances. We give you the facts you need to help you make informed choices about your lifestyle.
Take part in one of our workshops and get the information you need to help you make the right choices about your lifestyle. These workshops are interactive and fun, but will give you the facts and only the facts - NOT opinions. Using what is called a 'harm reduction' approach we'll always make sure that, whatever your lifestyle choice, information we give you will help you stay as safe as possible.
If you're not sure if your alcohol or drug use is causing you problems our workers will be able to help you identify the signs and access the specialist support you may need.
If you're a young adult living in Ipswich area and need support in stopping or reducing your drug use then we're here for you. Again, using a 'harm reduction' approach, we can help you indentify small achievable goals, to reduce the risks associated with drugs, alcohol or other substances.
The NORCAS Youth service has bases in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft, but we also cater for both urban and rurally isolated young people. Find out where our services are available.
