You don't have to be referred by your GP, social worker or other healthcare professional to access our services. You can refer yourself either by telephone or at one of our 'drop-in' sessions.
Many of our services offer 'drop-ins', which means you can call in during a given time and get direct access to one of our trained and experienced substance misuse workers. Find out when these drop-ins are available in your area.
When you see the worker they'll assess your needs and talk about the options available to you. It generally takes no more than half an hour, but you may be offered a more in-depth assessment or referred to other services if it's appropriate for you.
All our services accept telephone enquires and referrals. Some may carry out an initial assessment over the phone, while others may direct you to the drop-in sessions available. In either case, we'll always let you know what the next step is and the availability of our services. Please consult our service map for contact details of your local office.
We aim to make our services available to all clients wherever they live and we currently have teams working across Norfolk and Suffolk. Our service map shows where to find us.
