New Legal Highs Factsheet

The past year has seen a dramatic rise in the use of, and problems caused by, so called ‘Legal Highs’. Obviously this issue is one that any substance misuse agency should give serious consideration to, for both current and future practice, and we are finding that there is a marked increase in enquiries in this area.
In acknowledgement of the need to develop a focused strategy on this topic, NORCAS have produced an information document, linked below, to begin to address some of the issues are being raised.

It is our belief that we should aim to be proactive and also to be regarded as the source of expert advice and we aim to deliver advice and training on these issues to as many diverse groups as we are able.
