Particularly relevant to those who have contact with existing or potential drug users from parents, care professionals and those in the workplace. The course will include up to date information on the all the main drugs, cover relevant legislation and look at the work of and access to specialist services.

BY THE END OF THE DAY PARTICIPANTS WILL :
- Have increased their knowledge of the effects and risks of the most common illicit drugs
- Be able to discern between differing types of drug use e.g. recreational, problematic
- Understand the laws governing drug use and supply
- Have grown in confidence and ability to respond to drug use positively
- Know when, how and why to refer to specialist agencies for support
