A series of half -day BRIEFINGS FOR HOUSING ASSOCIATIONS, outlining their legal responsibilities in relation to section 8 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and the new Anti-social Behaviour Bill
A highly regarded ONE DAY FOUNDATION TRAINING course in substance as part of the Norfolk Drug Action Team's [www.nordat.org.uk - hyperlink please] monthly training programme, helping participants to understand a complex issue and know more about drugs, those who use them, and the services on offer.
A 3 day COURSE FOR COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKERS, helping them to increase their confidence when engaging with drug using clients, understand and complement the work of local drug services, and support families dealing with home detox.

A specialised 2 day course for CONNEXIONS PERSONAL ADVISORS geared specifically to gaining an understanding of the role drugs may play in young people's lives, and helping them to consider the use of various techniques and resources to carry out harm reduction work.
Working with a local HOMELESS CHARITY to help them devise and implement a suitable RESIDENTS' DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY. A programme of staff consultation and subsequent tailored training backed up the successful implementation of the policy.
A 2 day course for carer's support agency on ALCOHOL AWARENESS AND INTERVENTION

A half day seminar for a local PCT entitled LIVING WITH HEPATITIS, actively involving those diagnosed with Hepatitis B or C and their families.
2 hour sessions for SERVICE USERS looking at OVERDOSE PREVENTION, focusing on exploring popularly held myths and practicing lifesaving techniques that can be employed overdose happens.
A 1½ day course for GP REGISTRARS, including general awareness, the use of screening and brief intervention techniques and involving live role-play scenarios
